We lived on the Gold Coast and we're looking to relocate further north. So we took a week off to check out potential areas. We had lined up a few house inspections and on the second last day found what we were looking for. Cheyne had met us at the property and showed us around. We liked what we saw, but had another 2 properties to inspect. By mid afternoon we had made up our mind and contacted Cheyne to advise that we had settled on the house in Lammermoor. Within the hour Cheyne rung us back and said that the current owners had accepted verbally our offer. 2 hours later, Cheyne came to our Motel with a contract and we signed there and then. As we had no contacts in the area, Cheyne provided us with a list of potential Companies to undertake pre-purchase inspections, as well as the Web address for a Yeppoon Community Board where members often recommend companies and tradies for potential works. The remainder of purchase and settlement went extremely smooth and Cheyne was always more than happy to answer any questions that arose in relation to dealing with Council and so forth. We can highly recommend Cheyne White as a friendly professional who does go the extra distance to assure a smooth process.
