Chris was very easy to deal with, his communication was extraordinary and we were always aware of where he was at with negotiations with different parties. We has many people interested in the property and Chris handled himself with professionalism and integrity when dealing with all parties.

SUPERMAN!! After being on the market with Darrell Fernandez for 3 months, with no change to our strategy and a failed auction, we decided to enlist Chris to save our property sale. This super human put a list price on our home and had it under offer within 6 days!! Chris is knowledgable, personable, professional and gets the job done!!! He discussed possible strategies for the future which didn't revolve solely around a price reduction. Chris also walked us through the entire process, kept us up to date and informed, and made the whole experience that much less stressful on us, especially as we were battling bush fires at the time of our sale. Chris is a genuine agent and I would be thrilled to either sell or purchase a property through him again. I cannot recommend Chris enough and wish we had listed our home with him from the start. Most professional agent I have come across! I have had buyer as well as seller experience with Chris Davidson and while my shoes have changed, my experience with him did not vary greatly which in my view is a good indicator of the best practices that he follows. No finger pointing but not long back, as a buyer I have met many agents that do virtual auctioning!! It is very common to hear “we have already got an offer of $XXXX”, instigating a motivated buyer to offer higher price. It seems good from the sellers point of view but I doubt that it fetches good result. If you want auction than do an auction else give an indicative range and an equal opportunity to all interested buyers, and a second opportunity to offers that are close enough. Reputation of an agent is what matters most, and reputation comes from work ethics and professionalism. Work in the best interest of seller by getting the best price, and for buyers highlight the right value of the property by digging at the positives that justify its worth which may indeed vary from buyer to buyer. Creative advertising, conversation style, an eye to individual buyers needs is necessary to build trust and connect with them and I guess that’s where Chris wins a deal. Apparently that is the reason he gets the record selling price and I am a close witness to that at least in the suburbs I have been active in like, Holsworthy and Wattle grove. As a seller I was surprised when Chris advised me to not sell my property because that wasn’t a best decision. He was right, because I chose to sell 3 months after buying. But who would push away the commission that he and for that matter any agent gets for selling? Well, I guess that was his personal side, leaving behind potential benefits. And, eventually when we decided to sell, I can’t be happier that he sold the property for the best price that too in the slowing down market. It wasn’t wise to sell too soon but it was certainly wise to sell through Chris Davidson.
