When we first met Chris he was able to put my husband and myself at ease and explained fully what we could expect from himself, his team and Harcourt Real Estate. Due to our delayed circumstances in our proposed Granny Flat build, Chris reassured us that we were under no pressure from him to put our house on the market, not until we were ready. Chris organised photo's of our house which were handled very professionally. We had regular weekly market updates from Harcourts. Our building permit finally came through and as our photo's were all ready to go Chris called around to our property on Monday 26th June to look over our house to familliarise himself and said he was about to put the photo's on the internet approximately at 4pm that day Monday 26th June 2023. Chris called us that evening to say there were a couple of people interested in our property. Chris called us midday the next day Tuesday 27thJune told us he had some families who wanted to view the property, we went ahead with the viewing and on Tuesday 27th June at 5pm Chris phoned first to say some offers had come through, he arrived at our house about 4- 30 pm, we had 3 offers made and one of them was a cash buyer. We knew we couldn't have had a better outcome. Chris explained in detail our options, we accepted the cash offer and we still are in shock as to how easy and smoothly the process went in the sale of our house. Thank you to Chris and his team for their help, we very much appreciate their politeness and courtesy to us, a rarity these days.

After some negotiation, Chris secured a cash sales price well over the asking price, and beyond our expectations, on the day of the first home open. When an unexpected hiccup arose a few days prior to settlement, Chris stepped in and negotiated the best realistic outcome. I was very impressed. Chris was very easy to deal with and gave great advice on what works best in the area we were selling. As our house was a bit unique, given size, ceiling heights, layout etc, Chris could see it had a higher potential than a lot of competing houses. This was a major factor in our decision to go with Harcourts as other agents seemed to work on a principle of what else had sold recently and adjusted our expectations to well below what we expected. With Chris, it was actually the other way around. He saw the potential and developed a marketing strategy to achieve a price better that what we thought we could achieve. He and his team were all very professional and helpful - special mention to Lauren as well here. Chris was quick to adapt if certain things weren't achieving results and always discussed with us what he thought would work best and why. He also took feedback well. In the end we had 2 competing bids and achieved a sale that was above our expectations and met our settlement date needs. He is definitely the most experienced Agent in the Mandurah area and especially for the North Yunderup area. He understands the buyers who look to move to that area and what they are looking for. We can't recommend highly enough - he is the agent you want to go with if you want to get the best price for your house and have someone easy to deal with.
