Right from our first meeting we felt comfortable. Chris quickly put us at ease and was able to answer any question or request for advice. Being a long term rental property we were a bit nervous as to what we would find on our first inspection. Chris accompanied us, wrote us a list as to what we needed to do and kept us to it.. .even when we did want to deviate and turn it into a scene from The Block. He negotiated quotes from stylists and was always available for further advice. But his communication skills really came to play once the unit was open for inspection! Chris contacted us after every open to advise how many had gone through, their status and interest levels. We really felt that we were totally hands on during the whole process without having to do the work. Chris presented us with a comprehensive report the day prior to the auction and it was obvious that he had done his homework. Again, he put our minds at ease.... his diligence reaped its reward and we managed more than $60,000 over our original reserve....Now that's a winner! The real deal breaker though had to be the beautiful arrangement of flowers we received the night before our first open....a special touch....and when you know you've chosen the right agent! Being our first experience with property development, there were many things we were unsure of and Chris’ experience in this area was really handy. He provided excellent advice in the early stages about tailoring the building design and floor plans to target buyers as well as advice on dealing with contractors and timelines. Chris’ communication with us was always open and honest with regular updates about his discussions with potential buyers. Chris has been very easy to deal with. Very thorough and very helpful. What stood out the most was that Chris was the first agent we dealt with who gave us an honest evaluation of what we could expect the property to sell for on auction day. After being told by so many agents that "we don't know what the market will do mate", Chris was able to provide what proved to be a very accurate assessment letting me know "it won't go for less than this, it probably won't go for more than this and it definitely won't go for more than this" this allowed us to accurately set expecations. Chris replied to all our questions promptly and made sure we had all the information we needed.
