George initially approached us to value our residential home. We advised that we had no plans to put the place on the market. Like a great salesman he uncovered an unstated need by talking about other properties. I advised that I had an investment property and may think about selling in future. I follow the market in the area and noticed another unit in the area sold for a good price. I called George and he was on to it immediately. He was realistic about the price he thought he could get and didn't make things up to get the listing. George gave us constant updates and negotiated well with the buyers. In the end he got us a price that was well above what we were expecting, with minimal fuss and without hassling us to drop the price. After doing a lot of research via the internet on agents in the area we settled on two that we felt fit the bill. Both were the leading agents in the Taylors Lakes area and proceeded to contact them. Being the Christmas break, we weren't sure if we would hear back from them, and to our surprise George called us back the very same day. We had a chat and arranged to meet. The first agent we had called, contacted us a full week later, apologised for the delay due the Christmas and we thought fair enough, can you please send us some information through that we could look at, and he said he would. We never received any further contact from this agent, so it made the process a little easier. We live a full 1 hour away from the Ray White office, and due to working hours, couldn't attend for a pre listing meeting, so George and Peter Travlos offered to come and visit us after work, a full 2 hour round trip with no promise of any listing. They were a pleasure to speak to, very honest and upfront, made no false claims or promises and outlined clearly what we could expect during the process and how they could use their expertise to assist. The campaign was a breeze thanks to George, professional advice, regular contact to update us on the buyers, the property, the tenants and the process. Pre-Auction meeting was also a pleasure with clear and concise advice, and education of what to expect on auction, and beyond if it didn't sell.
