We were incredibly fortunate in purchasing our new home to have Cobey Parnell as our Real Estate Agent. Cobey’s knowledge of the area was fantastic. He was wonderfully patient in answering our many questions and arranging for us to view the house several times. The project was 7x 3bed 2bath (1&2 car) units over 3 levels. The project was delayed in construction due to JV partner not getting design done properly to get building approval. The result was the market moved into a period of oversupply of units and this affected prices quite significantly. Two selling agents tried to sell the units off the plan and only managed to sell one unit by practical completion. My bank manager at Westpac told me he knew someone who may be able to help as he had seen them successfully help another developer a few months earlier – so I rang Shaw Property Group. Cobey and Lewis reviewed the project and told me they believed they could help me given the style and configuration of the development. It they did not truly believe they could help me they stated they would tell me upfront. Otherwise it would be a waste of time and money for me and them. So I engaged their services and I can summarise my experience below and Cobey was my main contact. · Very professional and optimistic · Innovative in marketing and value for money · Good network and database · Hard working and excellent follow up and communication with me to keep me up to date · Truthful and genuine with offers that came in · They got 3 units sold within say 6 weeks, then one a month until the last (and lesser) unit was sold a few months later. Hard to sell 3 bed 2 bath 1 car units in a saturated market. I am happy to recommend Cobey’s services and will definitely contact him to discuss my next project.
