Our journey started like most others. Jamie and I invited 2 agents to our home for a market appraisal. Our home had flooded in 2011 and We weren’t sure what our property was worth. Corey came prepared, he had spoken to other agents in our area regarding recent sales, and the difficulty of those sales. He was professional, honest and calming which made our decision easy. Being a flood home from 2011 we knew our sale wouldn’t be easy!! We also needed to buy, sell and settle simultaneously. Finding a suitable property in the current market within budget was becoming difficult. Corey managed to find us the perfect home, which meant we could then list our home for sale and within short time it was under contract. FAST FORWARD 1 WEEK….. Our home flooded again! We didn’t know what that meant for us, our buyers cancelled the contract, we were back at square one. What we did know was this - We had an AMAZING agent, who called everyday to check on us, We had an agent who managed to take away all the stress, he remained calm, he was honest with us and potential buyers and always professional. We had an agent who rolled up his sleeves (also brought along his colleague William Teys- also an amazing agent) and helped Jamie and I clean up the mud, rubbish and the all Important Lego collection. Jamie and I can’t thank Corey enough for his support! He went above and beyond, for that we are forever grateful!
