Craig Litchfield joined McMahons Point Real Estate after deciding his part-time hobby and passion for residential real estate was worthy of a “harbour change”, leaving the life of the large corporate environment for the buzz of the smaller business world in an office beside one of the world’s best harbours. He just loves property and working in this fantastic pocket of the world and after 3 years of working with the team took on the role of Principal.
Craig enjoys the personal side of residential real estate and being able to work with people on what is often their most valuable asset. Craig has lived and owned on the lower north shore for the last 20 years and is a great advocate of its lifestyle advantages and providing a great place to invest.
Craig has proven himself to be a very successful agent in the area achieving record prices for a growing number of properties. He always works hard to achieve the best possible result for his clients and always wants to maximise the selling price as a reference for his next possible sale.
Understanding the needs of active buyers in the market and helping them to find the property that best suits their requirements is one of Craig’s strengths. He works on the adage that a property can never be sold without a suitable buyer.
Craig has great experience from previously working for some of Australia’s largest corporations. This included a variety of roles with one of Australia’s largest investment institutions, including being an economist, working in property finance and National Property Services Manager.
Craig has also held senior roles with several major Australian and international organisations that were involved in managing large national property portfolios, including banks, major shopping centres, residential property (including Opera Quays, better known as “the Toaster”) and heavy industrial sites.
Craig is a Licensed Real Estate Agent, a qualified economist with an MBA and has completed Associateship level studies with the Securities Institute of Australia and the Insurance Institute of Australia.
