He would never let a property rest and was always seeking to strike to deal between buyer and seller.... striving for a bit of give and take from both parties. Highly recommend his services.

We first contacted Dane through his fb account about a different block on the same street in which he responded later that day. We ruled the first block out and messaged again about the block which had a better aspect to the sun. He responded by saying the cheaper, poorly aspect block was better value and that the block we wanted to make an offer on had an house and land package proposal already going through on it. I think this was a lie, that he wanted us to buy the cheaper block that had been on the market a long time. We messaged again to clarify if the block was for sale or if the (i believe fabricated other interested party) had an offer already accepted. He replied to us trying to invoke panic saying it would be shortly gone. When we rang to arrange an offer to be made he was prompt in visiting our house - no mention of the other interested party again! However on making the offer he laughed in our face and said it would no way be accepted. Again tried selling us the cheaper block. We then had several back and forth offers over the phone and eventually agreed on 230k. Bearing in mind our first offer was 210 when he laughed in our face and made us feel like we were wasting his time. Clearly unprofessional. After the offer was accepted we arranged to visit him to sign the paperwork. We arrived and were forced to wait around 20 minutes outside in the car park as he was on the phone to another client. I'm pretty sure he knew we were there outside so he could have least let us in and gestured he was on the phone. We had a few issues regarding the retaining wall on the block getting damaged after we had made the offer. He assured before signing that it would be rectified before settlement - it wasnt. Every contact we made after that point he ignored or sent back patronizing emails in response. In the end we sorted the retaining wall our ourselves. We are very happy with purchase price - would have preferred not to deal with Dane Stanley.

I felt I would have liked more communication in regards to updating me on the progress. I felt it was always me that had to make the phone call and enquire. This was also a big deal to me buying this house and ultimately spending 450k and felt there was a lack of excitement from the office. Again it was me that rang after settlement had gone through to follow up on collecting the keys. I was simply handed 2 sad looking keys and that was the end of it all. In my past experience I have felt the agent get excited with me and would always receive flowers or a bottle of wine/champagne as a congratulation and house warming. It's only a small token expense wise but makes for a memorable experience.

We are in the process of purchasing our home thanks to Dane Stanley. He was not only looking to meet the needs of his selling customers but was very helpful and understanding to us as buyers and got us our house at the price we wanted.
