This was the second time that we engaged Darryl Wickham as our agent to sell our properties. We first engaged Darryl in 2009 to sell our property in Glen Waverley (VIC). Darryl did such an amazing job that we had no hesitation this time round when we wanted to sell our property in Wheelers Hill (VIC). We knew we were selling in tougher market conditions but with Darryl on our team we were prepared to take on the challenges. As always, Darryl was professional to the max! He came to our property, did a walk through and listed areas for improvements in terms of presentation.We listen to him and took care of all the areas he highlighted. We went along with the marketing plan that Darryl mapped out for us and cooperated with him fully on open house requests. The result was a massive turnout on auction day despite the rain. I was also very impressed with his strategies for a wet weather auction! During auction, my wife and I were as cool as cucumbers as Darryl had already briefed us the day before on what to expect together with a solid game plan of when to put our property onto the market. In a falling market and with the property badly presented due to dirty tenants the result was strong. The property was sold by private negotiation prior to auction to a buyer on the Ray White database. I had two competing buyers and Darryl negotiated the best possible deal at 9.30 pm at night.
