He approached the property realistically and didn't over value the property just to get our interest. plenty of opens for people to get an opportunity to view the property and also a number of one on one inspections. David was recommended to us via the Marketing Manager at Lights View retirement homes. Although we didn't take up that opportunity at Lights View, we contacted David and immediately felt at ease with him. He had a lot of experience with people like us moving from our large family home into a retirement village. He explained the market to us and provided us with an analysis of properties in our area. We had talked to a few agents before David, but found him more understanding and realistic. We were happy with his appraisal of our house and the methods in which he proposed to market it. We were also happy with his fees which was also a very good incentive to work with him. He kept us abreast of what would happen and the outcome of each open. I say each, but we only had two as the house more or less sold on the first open. We were very impressed with the brochure and if really highlighted the features of our home. David's advice regarding settlement length was something that we adhered to. David has a quiet nature and nothing appeared to agitate him. We would have no hesitation in recommending him to others.

We found David to be respectful and trustworthy, and easy to communicate and work with. He remained composed in what can be a stressful time, and we felt at ease knowing that he was managing the sale of our house when we are now living interstate. We were also very happy with the price that we got for our property.

The first time I met David Brookman I liked his manner, and gentle calmness. He was constantly updating me with the campaign, where we were and who was interested. He allowed me the ability to make decisions in our marketing strategy and change tactics as required. Our house was extremely hard sell, with major renovations required, my husband had called it "the impossible sell" but within 6 weeks he had over 50 separate groups through and sold our property with only subject to Finance. David could not have worked harder, securing a coveted story in the Advertiser, creating a beautiful brochure and marketing through all major Real Estate and Facebook sites. I would highly recommend him to sell your property. I still can’t quite believe we are now living in our home by the ocean, enjoying our new view and the next stage of our life. In our dealings with David, he has gone above and beyond what he should have had to do. We feel the vendors did not behave with integrity throughout this process ... and the final straw was the considerable amount of rubbish left on the premises after settlement. Although David was not the original agent for this property, he personally moved rubbish for us in his own time, for which we were very grateful.
