My Wife and I were fortunate to deal with David Gowdie, as the sale of our house was not simple and required a skilled focus, which David provided. I think that my Wife and I knew that we had the correct agent when David assisted me in making changes in the garden to improve the show value of the house. We had regular strategy sessions and David was always able to instill confidence and calm during the sale process. The final lead up to the sale required skill and technical know-how that manifested itself in the success of the deal.

Knowledgeable, skilled, highly professional, diligent and a smart agent. I met David in June 2016 while he was selling our neighbours' house. He sold our neighbours' house at much higher price than the market at that time. He explained us his business model which appealed us as we were not sure whether to sell our house or renovate to live in it. He gave us plenty of time to think but we couldn't make up our mind. We contacted him again about six months after our first meeting but he was very busy. He gave me contact details of someone else who worked in a similar way. Unfortunately or fortunately he did not respond to my request. We finally decided to renovate our house and engaged an interior designer. We were blown away by the budget of renovation and knew that if we spent that much we may not get our money back if decide to sell the house. I knew David had the perfect solution to our problem as he told us that he will renovate the house for the purpose selling. We should get every dollar back and may get double or triple of every dollar we spent. I contacted David again in June 17 again. This time he was available. He made an appointment to see us at our home and I think that was the end of my all the worries. He took control of our project, guided us on each step, helped us to negotiate a good price on our new home, called his team of professionals to give us advice and a quote for renovations to sell, got everything done when we were holidaying in US and sold our house for a record price within a week of advertising. He was very diligent and professional and took care of our home as if it was his own home. I was really impressed with his knowledge of the market, buyers, landscaping and interior designing and where and how to find a good buyer. I did speak to few real estate agents before David but none of them appeared as knowledgeable as David. I'll highly recommend him if you want an easy sale and a good price for your property.

Selling a property can be a very stressful and difficult experience. I learnt the hard way after having our property on the market for over 6 weeks without a single offer. I then decided to approach another realestate agent as I wanted my property sold as soon as possible. David had just recently sold a property in the same complex so I decided to approach him and inquire about his services. I immediately noticed that David was very proactive and prompt with his communication. He was honest with his opinion and evaluation of our property. After appointing David as our new agent he made recommendations on what he believed needed attention in order to achieve the best sale price for our property. Although it wasn't cheap my wife and I decided to follow David's advice and complete the renovations. At the completion of it all, the house looked amazing and I was kicking myself for not doing this earlier on prior to listing the house for sale the first time. As I lived interstate, David was able to arrange quotes and recommend tradesmen to complete the improvements to the property. This made my life a lot easier and made the process a lot less stressful. The pleasing thing was that everything was completed within 2 weeks and we were on the market the following week. Not long after David advised me that he had received a written offer and soon we were under contract. Overall I was very please with the service provided by David. If anyone is looking at buying or selling, definitely give David Gowdie a call and you will see for yourself that this guy is an absolute professional.
