It was a sad sale. David worked very hard with aligning the staging agent & during the home opens. I cannot fault his communication & level of detail following the home opens & getting to the point of sale. Whilst we didn’t get what was originally anticipated, we still managed a solid sale. I was a bit disappointed that after the documents were signed the communication & responses dropped off considerably. I understand that there are others receiving the level of service that I had initially before signing so I shrugged it off. It would have been nice to have felt supported until the property had settled. I also would have thought that a personalised card or email would have been appropriate upon the sale of the property. Whilst the value may not be high in estate agents eyes, it meant the world to me. The congratulations was part of this ‘rate my service’. I expected a more personalised touch. A family member went through another agent at a different company & they were supported to settlement. They also received a really heartfelt card & hamper for trusting them with their property. Similarly, my Settlement Agent sent a card & little token thank you gifts. I hope this feedback helps you to grow & support your more sensitive clients.
