A professional start with David, but the house sale was handed to an agent who gave us little confidence. He let slip that he had been telling potential buyers to offer $50k less than the asking price, citing that we were keen to sell. When i told him the asking price was already reduced and we hadn't indicated we were happy for him to reduce it further 'informally', he said he remembered a conversation with me about it. No conversation of that nature had taken place. The eventual buyer asked questions about the solar power system and the agent had to phone me to get answers. He thought it was a water heating system. He didn't know - or been able to tell previous potential buyers - about the 3.5k solar system. We had similar problems when we we rented out a property through them; Karen was fantastic, but the staff member who was given the rental to deal with was occasionally rude and unhelpful. For example, i phoned he once with a problem and was told firmly 'i'm ready to go home, you've got 5 minutes!'. David and Karen appear to be very professional, but are sometime let down by staff. I might have had bad luck, but would be more careful next time. I've hit the recommend button, but am really unsure.
