Do not be fooled into thinking that all agents are the same, and the lower the commission rate the better. In real estate you get what you pay for and although the commission rate was slightly higher than other agents we have used previously, the selling price was $45,000 over what we expected to sell for, making the extra 1% completely irrelevant.
