We approached Percival Estate Agents, as well as other local agents to give us a market appraisal on our home. Over a period, 3 other agents rated our home at between $385,000 - $395,000. However, Di Calder's gave us a rating of between $395,000 and $405,000 which she believed she was confident in achieving. We were surprised at this high figure and asked her not to market the property higher than the market value. Di assured us that she believed this was achievable. At no stage did we get any offers close to this figure. To be quite honest, we are very disappointed in the final result of $386,000. We feel that the other agent's appraisals were more realistic. Di presented herself very well and kept us informed throughout the campaign in a very professional manner. We rated your first question, No - "Do you recommend Di Calder." This is due to the fact that we sincerely believe our property was incorrectly listed at $395 - $405. which retarded the sale of the property. The presentation of the home etc was very well done.
