The real estate gods favoured us in the selling of our investment property. We had Diane as our adviser throughout the process, Phil as the auctioneer, and their daughter Alana as capable assistant. The place in Rye was our home for twelve years. Di and her staff then handled the rental of the property (at a rate above what another Rye agent had quoted) for four years, and we were very satisfied with every aspect of management including vetting tenants, maintenance and monthly financial reports. It was therefore a no-brainer as to who we would engage to sell the property.Di was well prepared for our initial meeting with a folder with relevant sales results in the area, a marketing strategy (brochure and internet), open for inspection times and a five-week campaign culminating in a Saturday auction. Given a clear overview of the sales process, we were very confident and accepted her commission proposal without haggling.
