I am fortunate enough to have been a Western suburbs lad my whole life, being brought up in beautiful Yarraville itself until 1996 with our family of 5. I went to St Augustine’s Primary and St Michaels Grammar Schools and was an avid sports kid growing up playing nearly every sport imaginable. My family and I then resided to Williamstown where we saw out my mid to late teen years, to where my parents still reside to this day. Family and friends are a very important part of my life and I enjoy spending as much time with them as possible, whether it be watching my beloved Bulldogs or having an old-fashioned chin-wag over a BBQ and a beer.
My passion became golf, taking me to a level where I was fortunate enough to become the Victorian Junior Boys Champion at the age of 16 and a two-time club champion at Huntingdale Golf Club by the age of 22. I am lucky enough to still enjoy the game and play off a handicap of scratch at my home club Kooringal G.C. I did however have to make the tough decision to not chase my professional dream of playing in America and join the real world to chase my own work endeavours. It did however allow me to develop a range of skills including commitment, patience, determination, a competitive drive and a never say never attitude which I carry into everything I do to this day.
My introduction to the sales/service industry began in 2003 when I decided to purchase a Pizza Take-Away Restaurant in my home town of Williamstown. This enabled me to interact with people on a daily basis and provide a “service with a smile” persona & attitude which, if you know me, you see on a regular basis :)
After 5 years in the hospitality industry I eventually made the change and followed in my father’s foot-steps to the Transport & Logistics industry. This is where I believe I made my biggest learning development in my career working my way through all aspects of the business from a Truck Driver to a Sales Representative, Sales Representative to Operations Manager, ending in the proposition of becoming a Director/Shareholder within the business in my final years.
This made me realise that I love communicating with people on both personal and professional levels, and that customer service is vitally important in all interactions of life on a daily basis, which can sometimes be over-looked. This, with a patient, detailed and committed approach to succeed, stemming from my competitive golf upbringing, has brought me to a quietly confident pasture of Real Estate which I look forward to delivering to my customers in what is one of the most important parts and decisions in their lives.
I bring an honest approach to my clients and emphasise that transparency and a positive culture are of critical importance when selling a home. It is critical that my customers understand the good, the bad and any other valid opinions/information that directly relate to their properties. I am fun and happy person, but I also have a steely attitude towards gaining the best results for my Vendors, which is my number 1 goal!
