Dominic Romeo is a heritage expert with over 30 years experience in tourism and sales, and more specifically the preservation of historic country houses. Dominic is a Director of the National Trust of Australia (Vic). He sits on the National Trust Finance & Conservation committees and the Mooramong Farm committee. He has been responsible for the restoration of some of Victoria’s most significant historic estates, including "Rupertswood", "Burnewang" and three Mount Macedon Hill Station properties.
Dominic has been both a vendor and purchaser of historic properties and understands what is involved in presenting your unique property to the market. He understands what purchasers look for when contemplating buying heritage property, and works diligently and with passion to ensure the best result for the vendor.
Dominic has expert knowledge pertaining to the restoration costs of period buildings and has worked with a vast number of properties with strict heritage controls imposed by Heritage Victoria and the National Trust. He understands architectural styles and is able to guide vendors and purchasers through the sales and purchase process – working through any heritage or conservation concerns.
