Donna was very professional in all of our dealings with her, there was no nonsense and she was straight to the point with how things were travelling which is what we appreciated. Dealing with Donna was very rewarding and we found our dream home thanks to her.
When we had lost all hope of our house being sold somehow we were given Donna as our sales agent. Our hopes instantly revived when on first day of her open home, 13 potential clients walked for view. We were left in shock and disbelief when Donna informed us just two weeks (first open home) of her taking over our property that she has secured deposit and house under contract. Nicky & I have just purchased 79 Ragamuffin Drive. we informed Donna that we were from interstate and relied on her advice. Being from WA, where a handover inspection is mandatory, we expected all light & plug points, TV connections, etc etc to be operational. After taking occupation we firstly find that the plug point outside of the kitchen, which we planned to connect our freezer, has never been connected, although a visible dual plug point. No mention made of this. Acceptable?? We had asked for the sellers to replace 3 blown bulbs. When we came back only one had been replaced and the other two put in the "too hard basket", which Donna referred to as teething problems, which I contested as rather being unethical problems!! Acceptable?? We have looked back at the original selling photos and the kitchen light was working then, the key rack outside of the kitchen was present, curtains in the spare bedroom next to the laundry were also present and there was a speaker installed in the alfresco area. These have since been removed without any correspondence, and no attempt to make good the holes made. Harcourts contract clearly states that fixtures are to remain. Is this acceptable? We have also tried most of the TV points and cannot even receive free view TV. Not sure how a house can be sold in a capital city without basic TV connectivity. Is this typical? Unhappy buyers :-(
