There isn't enough adjectives to do the review title real justice to describe Eddy Piddngton and my dealings with him. Like any home owner I was emotionally attached to my house and I was reluctant to place it with a person who wasn't able to understand how attached I was. Right from the outset Eddy spoke honestly and truthfully about the market and what he thought the house was worth. I had seen sale prices in the very near vicinity so I had a good idea of what I was likely to get versus what I wanted. Taking Eddy's advice I brought people in to paint and declutter and transform it from the homely cluttered Edwardian to a place any family could love and enjoy. The home was marketed exactly how I wanted using a combination of Eddy's knowledge and my emotional passion. Eddy was always on time for meetings, kept me informed, worked with me from day 1 and his communication throughout the short campaign was outstanding. Twelve days into the campaign I had an offer and even though when compared to similar sales in the area it was very good, Eddy assured me that he would do better. Theee days later, other offers were on the table but by this time I was on a plane somewhere between Dubai and Dublin, Ireland. Eddy stayed in contact with me after I landed and had one keen buyer in the office and another on the phone and on email. Within 15 days Eddy achieved a price well above market sales for the area and 10% more than where I thought it would be. He achieved a record result for my Street and it was over in 15 days, after only 4 opens and with me on the other side of the world in Northern Ireland. A truely remarkable effort.
