Eddie Pennington was the agent handling the sale of a house I bought in Fairlight in October 2016. I was alerted to the house via the Clarke and Humel Manly list. Eddie was not acting for me, he was acting for the vendors. As part of this process I wanted the vendors to name a price prior to auction that they would be happy to settle on and give me a contract stating the same. Eddie negotiated between purchaser and seller and came up with the result that I think was satisfactory to both and allowed the house to be sold prior to auction. I found Eddie predictable, easy to get hold of and easy to communicate with. He's fairly practical and thankfully free of the bullshit which infests most Manly real estate agents. Manly's real estate pool is small and its pool of decent real estate agents is even smaller. There are plenty of sharks swimming around in the Manly real estate sea and you are likely to get your leg bitten off if you are not careful.
