Elie really went above and beyond to sell our home earlier this year. Whilst there was a lot of interest at the time, a lot of potential buyers hesitated due to the fact that our home was tenanted with a lease that would not be broken by the sale. Elie was able to attract buyers that were interested in securing a property to eventually live in, but not in a huge rush to move in right away. We decided to sale our investment property after 26 years and decided to go with Elie as he was so enthusiastic and seemed as though he could deliver what we expected. He said the right words he understood what we needed/wanted.. however after we signed the contract things have changed, advertised the property on a Thursday, did open house on Saturday and another one on Monday then he pressured us to accept an offer on the same week Wednesday (not even a week!) by saying no more buyers around if we don't take this offer we would be stuck! we wanted to do another open house on Saturday to give it another chance as it would only be the 2nd weekend but he refused saying we would scare the buyer off so we had no choice, trusted his judgement and accepted it.. wish never did that, wish we did go for another open house for the 2nd weekend to see, was it really it? there is nothing else he could do? we will never know now! Then waited for 4 weeks for the buyer to exchange, we still offered to do an open house as suggested by our solicitor but he kept saying no need just wait! after we settled I had to ring them up 2 days later to chase the deposit as it wasn't even actioned.. during this experience we felt that he was working for the other side at all times, it was always what the buyer wanted/requested, never met our requests! only wanted one thing from him from the start, i asked several times to keep the sale sign after the sale (just the print out and the brochures) as a momentum as it was our family home for a long time, after all.. we are paying for it should be able to do this one thing for us... surely... but nope he didn't even do that what a shame... So much, way too much money for something that they did not deliver..! he only worked for the buyer not for the seller.. even though we were the ones paying him as a seller! This was a very disappointing and stressful experience...
