Terrible Experience with Agent/ Agency
From the start of the process, it was a bit rocky as we were told that there was already an offer and if we wanted to be considered we’d have to offer more than the other potential buyer. After taking a day or so, Elie informed us the vendor has accepted the initial offer but then it fell through not long after being informed. We were then contacted to make an offer which thankfully was accepted. Towards the end of settlement period, I had contacted Elie to confirm a date and time we could perform the pre settlement inspection however, upon us confirming Elie had forgotten knowledge of when the settlement was taking place. *which is quite unprofessional considering he sold it to us 6 weeks prior*. Thereafter, settlement took place today and we had contacted Elie to collect the keys from his office, to our surprise he would not be there to greet us nor congratulate us for purchase instead we were met with a team who has no idea how to work their way around the office. Elie directed us to speak with another colleague who had no knowledge that we were coming in to collect the keys. We were simply given the keys in a zippable strathfield partners pouch and a little bag. No congratulations gift, nothing. If this is how agents operated it makes me wonder how they even get listings at all.
