There were minor issues that cropped up during the contract stage of negoiations that were not Gary's responsibility or under agent control, this was coupled with time constraints from our party. Gary did an excellent job in keeping us informed and being the goffer, even on weekends and because of this everything was able to be ironed out smoothly and possession was able to occur in time. Highly recommend, and not just Gary but also 'Wal Murray' as an entire agency. Wal Murray stood out from the rest, this was particularly noticeable due to the fact we had a time crunch. We were slightly amazed by the fact that with two other realestate companies in town that had listings that we were unable to arrange viewings on due to the fact that the particular agent responsible for listing was away. We were told we would have to wait until that particular agent returned from holidays despite the fact that we explained that we had pre-approval on funds and a time critical factor that our current rental had sold. One agent wasn't returning for another week and a half and it seemed ludicrous that another agent from the same real-estate company could not step in to allow a viewing. No such issues with Wal Murray who have a very strong team work ethic. In the future as we have further real-estate requirements we will certainly be engaging their services.

I would like to thank Gary Wells for the wonderful job he did in selling my home for me which was unusual with no real comparisons in the area. The house possibly had asbestos, I was worried about how the market would take this information, Gary explained the house had stood since it was built in around 1947 and was still in excellent condition and that many homes in East Lismore had been build of this material. We spoke about price, we decided to keep it under $400,000.00 so when prospective purchases looked at Internet sites like Realestate.com.au anyone looking between $350,000.00 and $400,000.00 would find it, we also agreed that anyone spending over this amount were likely to want brick and tile. As my husband was diagnosed with Motor Neurons Disease in 2012 the past few years had been incredibly stressful. As Gary originally sold my husband and I 10 Caldwell Ave East Lismore and we like his style back then and after interviewing 4 other local agents I felt Gary would be the right agent for the job, and it was perfect having Gary on board. Within 4 days of being on the market I had the first serious offer, I would have accepted too however the following day a full price offer was made and accepted. Gary was very caring of both myself and the purchaser and although there was what I thought to be a major hiccup and I almost took the house off the market Gary was very calming and helped me through this period. I really loved our home and was very sorry to sell but following the death of my husband the time was right to make a new single life. Gary went beyond the call of duty, firstly he got out of his sick bed to put up a sold sign for me, he arranged to meet the purchaser the day before settlement to oversee her furniture arriving and took a table to the joiners for alteration following settlement .So a huge thanks Gary he's the best. From photos to settlement was 3 weeks. I would certainly recommend Gary to any future vendors.
