After being recommended to Ray White Oakleigh over a year before we decided to sell, George and Leigh were diligent in their follow up to us over that time and by the time we decided to put the property on the market, it was an obvious decision to list our property with Ray White. Throughout the campaign, the team kept communicating with us as to what the potential purchasers thought of the property and who they felt the 'serious' purchasers were. We were particularly impressed with how much detail they obtained from the people going through the open for inspections. When it came to the week prior to the auction, we met with the auctioneer who would be running the process on the day, Robert Cincotta, to explain his strategy for achieving a result. We were impressed with the clear and concise strategies that were explained for the different situations that could occur on the day. On auction day, the team confirmed with us the reserve price and began the auction. There was constant feedback throughout the auction, with our listing agent George relaying messages to us on how many bidders there were, who they felt were serious bidders, etc., etc. We followed their advice on the day and it was executed perfectly. We were able to achieve a sale price of $555,000, $35,000 above our reserve, and we believe this was fundamentally due to following George, Leigh and Robert's strategy and their client follow up throughout the campaign. My partner and I both work in the real estate and property development industries and as such, have worked with dozens of real estate agents on a daily basis.
