George was the second real estate agent we worked with to sell my elderly (85) mother's house. Those in this position understand the challenges associated with supporting a parent transitioning into a retirement village. George's demeanour quickly got mum 'on side' which was half the battle. Because mum trusted George, and knew he had her best interests in mind - our job was so much easier because mum said 'whatever George thinks'. Mum was reassured that George was looking out for her and getting the best outcome for her. His ability to communicate some things which needed attention was excellent, so where the kids had no luck George was able to talk mum through the benefits of why some things should be done a certain way. The whole process was explained really well, including the benefits of going to auction. Communication following open homes or enquiries was excellent, and all the trades were organised for us. The auction result far exceeded our expectations, I think partly because we went into this having a realistic expectation set. I highly recommend George and the team at LJ Hooker in Belconnen. Everyone was so pleasant to deal with, patient with all our questions and dithering between 'do we get styling or not' (do it!).
