We met Gerard & Tim at another property in Manly West that was under contract. They were very helpful in directing us to 14 Lennox Close they had off market at the time, when we first went through we were not sure if it was the one for us but after Talking with Gerard & Tim they had us feeling right at home. Their knowledge of the market and local area was second to none, putting our minds at ease we began the negotiations. Gerard and Tim were tough, but fair negotiators making us really push to the top of our budget for the home. My wife and I are extremely excited to be moving into our new home and we would highly recommend Gerard and Tim to anyone looking to buy or sell in the local Bayside area they really go above and beyond expectations. 10/10

From the first moment we met Tim Hopgood and Gerard Sherlock we knew we wanted them to sell our home. They are very genuine, professional, well presented and personable young men, who have been very transparent in all our dealings with them. We completely trusted them when we employed them to sell our home, never once did we doubt their ability. We highly recommend them to anyone who is looking at buying or selling their home.
Although I've had a lot of experience in buying and selling previously, this was my first time making all the decisions on my own, so I felt a little anxious at first. Gerard guided me though the process, every step of the way, in a very professional manner. I highly recommend him to others. I'm very happy with the results.
After trying to sell our house with another agent for a year, we decided to take our house off the market. We were then approached by Clark real estate and asked to give them a chance to sell our home as they couldn’t understand why it wasn’t selling. We were always honest in what the selling price was we wanted and if we couldn’t achieve it then we would not sell. They believed their approach would be much more successful and even suggested we would get more than we were currently trying to sell it for. While in the beginning, Gerard seemed ok, a bit young and not entirely confident dealing with older clients. He eventually found us a buyer, and then all the lies started.. We ended up dropping our sale price slightly to sell and negotiated a reduction in agent fees to somewhat compensate. Gerard stated that he had asked his boss who had agreed to the reduction in agent fees. While we were signing the contract we asked for the reduced fee in writing but Gerard quite nervously and desperately said ‘Just sign the contract it is all ok, I have passed it with the boss!’. We ended up signing without seeing the proof of the fee reduction. (definitely a mistake on our part). When we got our final agent bill to pay it was still at the full rate. We rang the principal and asked for it to be changed as it was an error. He very abruptly told us that he had never agreed to the reduced fees. Gerard lied to his boss and said that he never said we could have the fees reduced and that we had lied and made it up. In the end we did get our agreed rate but we were spoken to very harshly by the Principal who said he never wanted to deal with us again.
Thank-you for the kindness, guidance, humour and the genuine human decency you have shown me through the sale of my beloved unit. I don't know if I mentioned it but 1/9 Buxton was left to me by means of a bequest in a death transmission so it was a particularly hard week moving on and letting go. Your professionalism and technical skill not only executed a quick scale but got me a very good price for which I am very grateful.
