What can I say? Selling my parents home, the place I grew up, the place where I got married, was always going to be very difficult and emotional. It certainly was much more difficult than I expected but I had Gino De lesi regularly communicating with me and reassuring me that all was well and things would turn out ok. I must say nerves were going to have the better of me and Auction Day was full of mixed emotions, but everything went perfectly. A few years ago we started planning my partners retirement and with consideration to selling our house in Thornbury as the children were all ready to leave home for their own pursuits in life. We started to go to all the auctions in the area to get a feel for what our house is worth. Barry Plant had been very well represented in the area, and that's when we met Gino and Luke.
