After being fed the "high sale price" line by another agent and listing with him for 3 months, without any result, we finally pissed him off and went to Glenn Wright of Raine & Horne Huskisson in mid July. Glenn advised us of what the property was truly worth and we set a realistic price. Had a couple of open houses and got an offer within 3 weeks. The offer was below our asking price and Glenn went to bat for us, prompting the buyers to make an offer at our asking price. Contracts exchanged soon after and we finalised our sale 2 weeks ago.
