About Gordon

Farming has always been a huge part of Gordon Galletly’s life. Before jumping into Real Estate in 2010, he was a cane farmer, born and bred right here in Mackay. Because of this, Gordon can relate to all the challenges the rural community faces and understands what they are looking for when buying property. It’s this connection to Mackay’s rural community that makes Gordon such an asset: he understands the pressures of working the land, he speaks the language, he knows the right people, and he’s got intimate knowledge of the legislation and regulations governing rural property (he also provides some solid office banter, but that’s just a bonus). Over the last 12 years, Gordon has facilitated some of the region's biggest cane and cattle property sales, as well as small acreage, and rural hotels; the list is long. His favourite part of the job is what he’s always enjoyed most: talking to everyday Queenslanders, hearing their stories, and helping them where he can.
