Grant approached us about a unit, that he had heard we liked. We confirmed that we would be interested if he could get the other party to the table. Following our recent experience selling our Marcoola property, we feel this review is very well deserved. We are a husband and wife couple living near Sydney. When we bought on the Sunshine Coast we met numerous agents and a few agents kept in contact and followed up on us. Mr Whisker was one of those agents. His contact was not intrusive or annoying and in a pleasant way he assisted us to find a suitable property. We ultimately bought a property another agent was selling. To determine who to engage to sell our Marcoola property we started our due diligence by going back to agents we had been impressed at that time. After contacting and meeting many agents regarding who to engage, again Mr Whisker stood out. Grant’s suggestion as to how best sell our property was somewhat different by encouraging us to go for a premium listing with realestate.com.au and Define Property. We appreciated the merit of good marketing and presentation but we were unsure because the property was very niche and we believed the interest would be a fraction of the buyer market who would be searching for similar to what we offered. The way Mr Whisker presented the property was of noticeable. His approach was to do as much as reasonably possible to present and market it well and during the sales campaign Grant’s charm and disarming professionalism in handling buyer interest was also evident. Grant encouraged us to spend that little extra up front and make more of an effort to present the property well, came together for the result because we achieved a 40% gross increase in sale price, we only purchased approx 2 years ago, so the result was remarkable !. Sure we bought well, but we did minimal upgrade. So we truly feel Mr Whisker achieved around 20% more than had we gone with a run of the mill agent.
