I had previously listed my investment home with the agent who had been looking after the renting of it. After two months and rarely hearing from the agent, i decided to rent the property out again. I had received several marketing letters from other agents, but if the agent who claimed he had it open for inspection every weekend could not sell it, I accepted the market was down. But I had a call from Helen from Coronis. Another agent ..great! Helen indicated she had buyers and was moving properties in the area and was based in the area. She asked for a go at marketing it. I agreed but with reservation. The ad was set and the home was open for inspection. I immediately got feedback on the open house. The following week, again an open house and feedback came. Helen approached me with a slight different approach to marketing the price of the house, I firstly thought, "he we go, promise they could sell then advise the price was too high etc etc. kick the vendor". I agreed as I could see merit in it and the price was still what i was hoping to achieve. With the new price marketing, Helen had the contract within the next week. A great surprise. While the purchaser started low (a s they all do), Helen was upfront and got them up to a reasonable price prior to submitting the contract to me. She worked very hard and rang me as soon as she believed she had a good contract. There was no games of going back and forth. It was just what Helen thought was a good offer. It was and we agreed immediately. The whole process from listing the home to a contract took three weeks and I have to say, Helen impressed me no end. If I ever get another property within her area, i would have no hesitation listing with her.
