We contacted Helen and met with her first thing next morning. Within days the marketing plan was finalised, photos take and posted on various websites. Helen worked very hard in a busy market, there were literally over a hundred house on the market in our area. Helen was always contactable and would respond quickly. We had numerous open houses but I believe we just missed the selling peak so we accepted an offer before auction which was slightly less than we hoped for.

Helen was highly professional and worked extremely hard to sell my property. She was always courteous and friendly and available both day and evening - nothing seemed to tire her! She found me tradies who were quick and did a good job. Her offsider Jie was also excellent. They organised 3 Opens each week and handled them efficiently. The auctioneer was very good too, and in retrospect I would have been better off accepting his advice instead of having the property passed in and selling a few days later. I did feel challenged once I realised that Helen's client list were mostly Chinese and as I found out were not interested in a house on a main road, one that was older, and one just out of the Balwyn High school zone - and therefore not interested in my house. If I had done research previously, I should have known all that, but I didn't - my responsibility! Few people attended the Opens. In any event, Helen got me the best possible price she could, at a time when the market had become flooded and people were starting to worry about rising interest rates. She handled it graciously and with full commitment, and I will always feel grateful to her. Thank you Helen and Jie.
