With more than 20 years of experience in Conveyancing, Property Transactions and Law Firm Management, plus a Paralegal Diploma and Real Estate qualifications in both South Africa and Australia, she brings a wealth of real-world knowledge to her role as a Real Estate Agent at Harcourts MackTown.
She doesn't just help people through a big move; she's lived through one herself. Having moved to Mackay from South Africa with her family, Jax knows firsthand what it takes to start again somewhere new and find a place where you belong, and that experience shapes how she looks after every client, whether they're moving across town or across the world.
Before she ever helped a client buy or sell, she was buying properties at Auction herself back in South Africa renovating and flipping them. She's experienced the excitement, the dust and the big decisions firsthand, a background that made moving into Real Estate feel like a natural fit.
For Jax, the most rewarding part of the job is helping people feel confident through a big life change, making the process easier to understand and sharing in the excitement when it all comes together. She's known for being approachable, explaining things clearly, and for genuinely caring enough to roll up her sleeves and follow through on what she says she'll do.
Outside of work, Jax is finding her rhythm between a fast-paced career and the things that recharge her like long walks on the beach with her dog Snickers, trips to the gym, and time with her husband Wayne and daughter JLee. She's also a keen gardener and also loves getting out on the ocean to snorkel and exploring new places with her family.
