When we first decided to sell our home, we were unsure how to go about it as we we wanted to sell the existing home and keep the vacant lot at the back (for which we had approved plans to build) but subdivision had not yet taken place, our initial consultation with Jacob was to determine whether he would be the right agent for us when our subdivision eventually came through. We never expected to be able to sell prior to subdivision but Jacob worked with us and a solicitor to gain advice on how to sell right away. Our sales campaign began right at the beginning of the Covid 19 restrictions which meant only one couple per appointment could attend an inspection but Jacob always made an effort to group appointments to provide the least disruption to my family, he kept us updated with every development and worked tirelessly over weekends and public holidays to ensure we received the best possible price for our home. The service we received from Jacob was second to none, he was extremely dedicated, problem solved his way through our unique situation and his approach resulted in a highly favourable outcome. The effort Jacob put in to sell our home was astounding. He was relentless. From providing advice on necessary repairs and styling of the home, to not only providing contacts of specialists and making the phone calls to follow up those specialists and checking in with us on their service and quality, to leaving no stone unturned in finding potential purchasers it is possible he worked more that 24 hours per day. He worked closely with potential purchasers to "keep them sticky" and secured a sale through managing a relationship with the eventual purchaser. The fact that he achieved the sale in the current environment adds to our level of praise.

As a first home buyer or buyer in general I would not recommend Jacob at all. He was quick to skip over most details, provided almost no guidance whatsoever and even tried to charge me for the Depreciation Schedule after the fact, despite the fact that it would serve no benefit to him whatsoever other than to try and extract more dollars where he could. Highly disappointed in his service and would not recommend an agent of his type.

Jacob was so easy to work with. From the very start he was knowledgeable and honest, and called things as he saw it. He provided suggestions on how to move furniture around to maximise the look of the space, he called me straight after each open to update me on all aspects of the open, was quick to get back to me if I had a question. He was respectful and was sure he understood things completely and made sure I was comfortable with his responses before going back to potential buyers. An incredibly patient man who was able to help me ride out the quiet patch in the market. He understood I was incredibly anxious about this process, and was able to support me through it!
