Naturally as an estate agent, they are working primarily to get a result for the seller, but as a buyer, at all times we felt that Jacob had our interests in mind too. He took time to answer our many questions and find out from the vendor when he didn't have an answer. And given that the vendors where out of town and working remotely, contact with them was rarely easy - but Jacob took it in his stride. He is certainly hardworking, knowledgable and honest. Can't ask for much more than that! Will definitely engage Jacob next time we are buying or selling.
I had already listed our house for sale in Millard Street. We were going to sell it ourselves and felt quite capable to do so. We met Jacob when looking to purchase a new home. After several discussion with him, he encouraged us to give him a go with our listing - but I set some pretty high expectations. Jacob met and in some cases exceeded what we wanted. With the greatest outcome being that he had a solid offer on our house within 9 days of him listing it, and moreover, he achieved $17,000 above our starting price!
