The simple fact is that Jake passed on the sale of my property to his assistant, and then, eventually to a junior(s), once it became obvious that it would not immediately sell. He told me that putting it on the market in winter would not affect sale prospects because properties sold just as well at that time of year. In an email from his assistant just a couple of weeks later, I was told that, yes, property sales were slower at that time of the year (as I had feared). I believed that one of the main selling points of my property was the 'studio' I had built at the back - which could suite a professional (as an office), or an artist as a studio, or as a third bedroom. I was told by all agents representing me during the sale that this was not a factor, and that no-one commented on it. I just spoke with the new owner, and she told me that it was the MAIN reason that made her buy it over other properties. I cannot recommend this agency because it is difficult to see how they can represent a vendors wishes. I will not use them again.
