My only surprise that wasn’t a reflection on James but was on the agency - was that with previous purchases I have received and congratulation gift which I feel is always a lovely gesture and welcome into a new home. Place didn’t do this and feedback would be that maybe for their buyers this could be introduced.

Choosing a real estate agent was a difficult decision for our family. We genuinely felt that the real estate agents we interviewed provided us with similar marketing campaigns, target price ranges and spiels. Our eventual decision was based on objective data - the sales figures of Place Woolloongabba for our area in comparison to others as well as James’ confidence in who the eventual buyer type would be. He was spot on. He exudes professionalism as does his team who were always happy to justify any actions as well as adjust anything if we challenged them. It’s also worth noting that Place Woolloongabba’s social media (self) promotions were not necessarily limited to one specific suburb - we had eliminated other competent agents on this basis as we felt these agents heavily promoted the benefits of living in the suburb they mainly sold in (which did not include our home’s suburb of Coorparoo).
