While buyers and vendors are usually kept apart, it is essential that the agent, acting for the vendor, have a sound knowledge of expectations from both parties. We found that James Gwynne was across all aspects and if he couldn't answer a particular question, would consult the vendor. We found James and his team to be hard working, honest and at all times, exercised good judgement.
James obviously has a successful blueprint and is selling a lot of homes in the area. James is hard working and driven, will communicate throughout the sales process and certainly follow up potential buyers. We also found his assistant Mary to be lovely and very helpful. There were aspects of the marketing campaign/ sales process that I wasn’t completely satisfied with and perhaps this was due in part to the mix of personalities and my expectations of an agent working for me as a seller. I feel an error on our part was not seeking advice from enough experienced agents and therefore were quite naive and lacked a bit of knowledge (no reflection on the James Gwynne team, just something I would do next time). I would describe my overall experience as satisfactory and would not discourage people from talking to James if you are looking for an agent.
