After deciding to sell our property and "Downsize" after more than 30 years, it was comforting to receive suggestions that showcased our property to its best potential. There were a few disappointments along the way, but James worked hard for us and we finally have an excellent result.
From going on the market to the point of sale, our campaign lasted only 2.5 weeks! We decided to sell once our youngest had finished school and to put into action our dream to relocate to the Sunshine Coast. We did our homework on a few different real estate agencies as well as specific representatives of those agencies and while there were some very good performers in the local area, we found that James Gwynne covered a lot of what we were looking for. E.g. a history that included a high sales volume, a very short average time on sale, and a high amount of positive feedback from very satisfied previous clients. Our initial meeting with James was time well spent. He wasted no time in arranging to meet with us. James took the time to listen to our wants and needs, asked pointed questions to clarify our complex situation (which involved a combined campaign with our neighbour), and he explained his process in detail in a way that we could easily understand. James was confident (and appropriately sensitive) in questioning some of our perceived wants and needs, and provided facts and figures to balance some of the assumptions that we made based on our own armchair research about sales in the area. Our only concern at the beginning was that James had not yet sold in our area. However this was short lived as his process included due diligence and research to ensure that he was well prepared. I think the best thing that James did to help sell our home was his tenacity at following the process right through to the end. For us, the end was auction day where we got to witness first-hand how well and how hard James and his team work to achieve the best result for the clients. We would absolutely recommend James to others.
