I first met James at my neighbours open home. Our house was also on the market, and had been for just short of 90 days. So when I learnt that James had already sold my neighbours home and for a really good price, I asked for a meeting with him. We still had 3 weeks to go with my current agent. They did not charge for advertising and was not out of pocket at all, but at the same time, in 90 days we only had 6 people view our property and no offers, we had also been advised to reduce our asking price. This was something that angered my husband. We listened to James and decided to sign with him and do everything he asked to get our house sold. He explained to us the importance of advertising and marketing and getting our property out there. With in a few opens we had our first offer. It was not what we wanted so decided to continue and not accept. We changed a few things, more along the lines on how I was presenting our house, but never what we both agreed our place was worth. James was absolutely brilliant in always contacting me with feed back and general communication. I was never left wondering if he had anyone. He always let me know on what was going on with other houses that were in the same price range as ours. James has a very honest and easy going demeanour, this makes him extremely easy to communicate with. He never gave up. He never got negative. He was always refreshingly positive that our house was going to sell. We witnessed James and realised his complete ability the day we received our sold offer. We listened to him and agreed with everything he said. Needless to say we got our asking price in a very clean contract with a 30 day settlement. We are over the moon.
