Hustle noun 1. a state of great activity. This is the best way I could describe James. I can 100% guarantee you there is not a single real estate agent in Ballarat that hustles like James. From 4am starts to still making calls at 8pm, he just doesn't stop. In a nut shell I knew when I met James that he was the person I wanted selling my house. James sold our house in 3 weeks as promised..well not so much promised but he told me he would get it done and he did. This review is either paid for or done by a friend there must be something off? Communication was a little poor in area's. I think one of James outstanding qualities as an agent, a person and a salesman is to make you feel special, and James has that attribute. The issue with this is that generally means everyone going through Biggins and Scott is going to want James selling their house and of course, James can't be everywhere at once. I feel in our case James possibly had too much on his plate and it was hard to keep us in the loop at all times, our house was managed by a few different agents re inspections which also lead to at times zero communication in regards to how the inspection went and sometimes days without a return call. All in all, if I was selling my house again I wouldn’t hesitate to use James, I would however outline my expectations around communication straight off the bat.

I recently purchase a home from James and his team at Biggin & Scott. I am new to the Ballarat market and have felt fully supported by James and the sales team throughout the initial sales process. In addition, following the successful deal being sealed I have enjoyed the wonderful support by property management team, particularly Leonie. Thank you. We think this is a great motto from James & Fran, as this is definitely their forte!! We embarked upon James to sell our lovely cottage in King Street. Albeit that property is going "gangbusters" in Ballarat at present and to an extent, it's a seller's arena, we found that James has great knowledge of the market in general and that his negotiating skills are excellent. When we were going through the stage of trying to choose which Agent we would entrust our property with, we asked James if he would give us some space to make our decision. He did in fact honor our request. He subtly sent us interesting information via email which was a great help to us and never once did he put on the "hard sell". This allowed us to make our decision in our own time with no hassle or stress.
