James has a great understanding of the market in Como, and was able to secure an offer within the initial range quoted. Him and his team worked closely with us to ensure all requirements for sale through to settlement were clearly explained and offered and over and above service. We have no doubt he treated all viewers of our property with the same respect and honesty we received throughout the sale process.

Before buying our present home, we came across James and various "home opens" and we found him to be friendly, polite and understanding of our needs. Over time we looked at a number of homes but none were what we were looking for and James never tried to push us into something that was not suitable. However, he kept us in mind and when the opportunity arose for us to sell our old home he contacted us - by chance I had already seen the Labouchere property advertised and, by chance, this was also under his umbrella and the rest is history. Not having gone through the process for nearly 30 years, (which was vastly different from today) we were not aware of the changes in the process of buying and selling made during that time - who moves when etc. and all the other expectations that are in place in this age. As a result, we got a bit confused about the process and maybe that is something that could be kept in mind by all reps when dealing with the older generation who have not been through the process in many years. Certainly, when we asked the questions, James was very patient with us and gave us the answers and we thank him for that.

We found James considerate, efficient, pleasant and knowledgeable about the market situation. We trusted his judgement and were happy to take his advice at all times. He set clear goals for the sale of our property and was energetic, encouraging and realistic. James was the seller's agent but we genuinely felt that he was representing our interests too. He is clearly highly skilled, and even more importantly (from our perspective) has a very collaborative and transparent approach. When we hit an obstacle with finance he provided direct, calm, and non-intrusive advice and assistance at the critical time. The office support was excellent too. We might not have been able to settle if a different agent had been handling this, and we will always be grateful to James.
