Our Family and I were in a sad place as our Mother had to go to a nursing home. The sale of the house was to fund her place in the nursing home we found. Jay was very understanding and knew the amount we needed and thankfully it coincided with the value of the property. We had been searching for our first home for over 9 months. Through going to open after open after open for inspection we have met Jay several times at different houses and discussed what we were after, and we were always kept up to date on current properties he had available that suited our wants and needs. Jay was always honest at the homes we showed interest in, letting us know if he thought it would be beyond our budget or within our budget which made the process a lot easier (as other agents had taken advantage of us being young an new to the market and let us get our hopes up on properties, only to be shut down on the first bid at auction!). You never know whats going to happen with the property market but he was as honest as possible and didn't let us get our heads down and was always positive that the right house was out there for us. We were so happy that we were able to buy our first home and the bonus was that it was one of Jay's listings. He is always prompt with responses to any questions and made the daunting task a happy one. We can't thank Jay enough, all good things take time and everything happens for a reason so after a lot of upset over the past 9+ months we are so happy to now be home owners!! Jay Moxon has good market knowledge of the Mill Park and South Morang regions and delieved record sale price for a property in South Morang. Jay was very friendly with his mannerism and was very approachable. However, a lot of the time, he was either late or engaged in another property settlement for our house inspections and most of the times he sent his assistant on behalf of him. We felt that this has affected how he communicated with our potential buyers. However, at the end of the day, he did sell our house for a good price.

Having been house hunting with the missus for just long enough for us to become bitter and completly sick to death of the lies real estate agents often tell, lies that seem to just be accepted as standard industry practices. We were so thankful when we met Jay on inspection of the house that turned out to be the dream. I honestly really enjoyed dealing with Jay during the negotiations for the property which he had locked down for us quite swiftly. I felt he had a real no B.S. approach to his work, he was straight up with me and I felt I could be with him.
