Jerry Kurzveil
Jerry, along with his colleagues worked tirelessly to sell our home for a fair price. It was not an easy home to sell given what we had to offer the market and what the market in our area was looking for. That was evident at the auction which drew a large crowd with plenty of registered bidders. It was then over to those in attendance to create the contest Jerry and his colleagues set up, however, it never eventuated. Nevertheless, Jerry's determination to sell our home never wavered. Two more offers came along, one fell over because the other party could not arrange finance after contracts were exchanged while another wanted unreasonable contract terms. Eventually the buyer we were looking for came along. My wife and I accepted their offer after some back and forth negotiations conducted by Jerry for around what we thought our home was worth and at a price well above what it had been passed in for at auction. As a seller you need to have a sense of when an offer is fair and reasonable, especially when what you offer the market is incompatible with what the market says it wants and it lowers the offer price accordingly. In that environment, the journey is more challenging, both for for the sellers and the agent negotiating the sale. Jerry formed an open, honest and close relationship with us which gave us confidence that the offer we accepted was about right.
