Joe is perhaps a rarity in his field. I think he's genuinely an honest, trustworthy guy. However, interest rate increases hampered interest levels which meant a disappointing auction. The approach of marketing the property below bank valuation to generate interest and hope for competition at auction to get the price to a decent figure didn't work in that environment for a property in our price range. It got plenty of people to come along but not bidding near the sale range. We ended up accepting a slightly disappointing price that was at the low end of what we and Joe (when we started the campaign) thought was fair value. But above bank valuation, so not a bad price just not a great one.
Joe and the team sold our apartment within 2 weeks, this was the quickest sale we ever had. We had this apartment on market last year with different agent and there was no sale for 3 months, sadly we had to withdrawn due to high RBA so we came to Joe's agent and try again. Was the best decision ever! Joe have been patience with me and my husband especially with the hiccups we had with the tenants.
