Joe had the property on the market within a few days of our request, had an open house inspection on the first Saturday, received all the offers and accepted on the following Tuesday, all up about a week from my request to list until accepting the offer. He also got more than I thought I would get for the property. He also keep in contact during all phases of the sale. All up a great experience for me without any hassles at all.

Joe clearly understood our situation, and in spite of some limiting factors on our side he was able to negotiate a good price, higher than other agents had believed our property was worth. We had to relocate from our first family home to follow employment. Our home was leased with the intention of moving back one day. Dowling Mayfield have been an excellent property management agent. Due to a change in our plans we wanted to sell the house and spoke to six agents in the area to check the market and what could be done as we now live 1000's of km away and couldn't return to Newcastle to organise the sale. All the agents had similar marketing and pricing strategies. I found Joe was very honest about the area and I never felt any 'say what the customer wants to hear' jargon or pricing was used. All documents were available quickly and the sale was lined up for the start of January. Every step was communicated to us by Joe or his team, I always felt informed about what was happening. Joe discussed the pro's & con's of each offer (t&c, requested timeframes ect) and provided all the information to allow us an informed decision. The best part was that they didn't stop the great service once the contracts exchanged, the tenant was assisted to move and they even helped to arrange lawn mowing prior to the settlement since we couldn't be back before it occurred. Joe and his team have made a complex event seem like a walk in the park. Less than eight weeks after my first phone call we have a cheque in the bank and our new future to look forward to.
