Sale took place within four weeks of being on the market which I feel was due to the suggested price for my property and the feel of the market. The only downside was the after sales. Real Estate being handled by the internet these days is very impersonal as you do not even meet the sales team. I did meet Marne as the purchaser required an original signature on the contract which meant a trip to the Rosebud office on a Sunday to meet Marne to re-sign same as apparently the purchaser could not wait until Tuesday when I had a day off. Marne assured me my conveyancer would receive a copy and I would get an account sale regarding the deposit and outgoings with Raine & Horne. Neither of these happened and a week later I received a telephone call from my conveyancer asking if the sale went through as she had been contacted by my loan company whom I had informed of the settlement date. The most exasperating thing was I had to telephone three times the day after settlement chasing my balance of deposit funds which should have been paid into my account on settlement. Summary the sale was quick but after sales service was very poor.
