John gave sensible and realistic advice on a property I was selling that was in need of some pre-sale work. John arranged for various tradesman to undertake some minor repairs, and, while we agreed to sell in the new year, he put up a sign in November indicating a forthcoming auction. The property sold in November, settling in December, at a good price. Throughout the process, John rang me almost daily (irrespective of the day of the week, and often in the early evening when he knew I'd have time to talk).
